After many weeks of planning (actually, this time last year initially) we finally made it out to Hanging Rock this morning.
Up out of bed at 2:30am, 2 hrs later, was in the carpark, and ready for a 1 hr hike into the location. A bit of a scramble down a "goat track" to the shoot location, but was worth it.
As we were shooting, a family came along, and Aaron (The dad) kindly asked us if it was ok for him to get out onto the rock, so shoot a Vlog.
So, off he went (definitely not for me...Mikey has absolutely no head for heights), and while he was out there, I asked him to pose for me while I knocked out a few shots.
He happily obliged, and this is the result.
I have a few more to come from here in the coming weeks, as the sunrise earlier was absolutely spectacular, but I thought I'd share this one first, as it grabs me.
Anyhow, back up the track, another 1 hr hike back out, brekky at Blackheath, and home by midday.
A handy 10 hr start to the day....
