Testing the new z9

Today I decided to put the new camera gear through a few tests. The day was quite dark, just above freezing and drizzling rain. In other words, it was miserable - not a day that I would normally shoot.

However, I wanted to test the Nikon Z9 and specifically the 800mm lens in low light conditions. My settings were ISO 2500, shutter speed set at 1/200th second, lens at F8.

I was blown away by the lenses ability to focus, the sharpness at ISO 2500 (I rarely shoot above 1600 ISO)), the detail and saturation. Guess I will be keeping this stuff for a while.
