Not the greatest shot, but after 37 years of shooting, I have managed to bag my first King Eider (not normal to this area).

Canadian winters are literally "for the birds". At this time of the year many types of waterfowl congregate on the Great Lakes, providing abundant photo ops. Pictured above, a King Eider (an Arctic bird extremely rare to this area) has decided to make Lake Ontario its winter home.
