Anyone shooting Kinglets will know that these birds are about the size of a Wren - and, the stupid things never sit still for even one moment.
After watching them hunt insects in a swampy ditch, I parked myself and waited for a subject to venture close enough. This guy decided to take a bath and do a little preening. Shot with a Nikon D3S at 1000 ISO, I used a 600mm lens c/w 1.7 telecoverter (1000m) to capture these images.
