At first glance, ones reaction would be: “Just another gull”. Here is a description from the Cornell Ornithology Department: “The smallest gull in the world, a few pairs have been nesting in North America since the 1960s, and the species is now a rare, but regular, visitor to the East Coast and the Great Lakes.” I consider myself fortunate to have gotten these shots.
