45 years ago on this day, myself and two army buddies,(also named Mark) boarded the train back home to Wertheim,Germany after ringing in the new year at "The Londoner" in Kitzbuhel, Austria.
There were absolutely no hotel rooms to be had so we roughed it in our sleeping bags outside the train station, wakeing up to a few inches of snow on top of us.
Those were the days!
