Mark Lanegan on tour for promoting his latest album, Blues Funeral. His previous album Bubblegum dated from 2004. It was my first concert by Mark Lanegan and probably my last: I did not like it one bit - his Tom Waits-like deep baritone voice was completely drowned by the heavy bass, a wall of noise running me over like a coaltrain in a long dark tunnel... Not for me.

Mark Lanegan did not offer one word with the Paradiso audience and he more or less remained in this pose for the entire, 90 minute or so concert. What a bore!
