Visiting from the South Devon Railway, pannier tank 1369 works towards Bewdley tunnel with a goods train bound for Kidderminster. Taken on Saturday morning of the Spring Steam Gala, 1369 was brought in as a later replacement for failed resident 813. 12 vehicles in this rake of wagons, a real testament to those who restore and maintain them.

7812 Erlestoke Manor works out of Bewdley with the 0759 to Bridgnorth, Saturday morning of the Spring Steam Gala. With the gala timetable having early morning trains I was keen to take advantage and get some shots from different angles. Initially looked at the viaduct just out of shot on to the left but this view was better. Got lucky with the traffic, have brightened up the sign for the railway a little. May do a version where I try and take out as much modern stuff as I can, this 'as it was' will do for now though!

D1015 'Western Champion' passes the classic viewpoint at Kings Sutton with its loaded test run/Pathfinder one way railtour from Paddington to Birmingham New Street. The largest gallery I have personally ever seen up on the bridge for this, think there must have been about 50 strong by the time it came.

After a break at Banbury. D1015 'Western Champion' continued with its its loaded test run/Pathfinder one way railtour from Paddington to Birmingham New Street. Seen heading north at Clattercote, it run would to Leamington before taking the branch to Coventry and heading for Bescot yard. The Class 57 on the rear would take the train on from there to New Street.

With a sunny morning forecast in Worcestershire I could not resist having a go at the two Black 5s on this rare morning path via the Lickey. Rather than go to the incline itself I wanted to try this spot at Oddingley, not been here before so was glad to find this view was on with the Malverns in the distance. Locomotives are 44871 leading 45407 with this second day of the GB from Cheltenham to Lancaster.
