A bike race in seattle, not really a race anymore, but a scramble from one part of town to in this case Georgetown, its an aneurism blood clot in the traffic flow of Seattle for 45 minutes as herds of renegade non-cyclists slam their way through downtown bringing traffic to a stop on every conceivable piece of self powered vehiculary known to man, from welded pig-iron to brazed Reynolds steel tubing to plastic Walmart toys cobbled together like costumes in Mar-di-gras.
Its the only even Ive ever been to where everyone is happy. There are never any issues, no police, no ordinance no complaints.
