View on the North Sea coast near the village Petten. This part of our coast was considered one of the weak links along the Dutch coastline, in connection with the rising of the sea. Therefore a dike (right side) was strengthened by 6 km long sand dikes -artificial dunes- by succing 35 million m3 sand from the sea bottom and spraying it on land. This project was executed in the period 2014-2015. The Image made with kite and camera (attached to the kite's line) also shows the artificial beach and lagoon, as well as a viewpoint on poles. © Tom Kisjes

The Netherlands- Julianadorp
"Groote Kaap" ("Big Cape") is not a monumental lighthouse (a.d. 1966, replaced 1985), but it's truly a beacon in its enviroment. Once there were two "Capes" here, the big one and a smaller one. "Small Cape" was broken down about 50 years ago.
