The Netherlands-Andijk
View on lighthouse "De Ven", situated between Andijk and Enkhuizen, and looking over lake IJssel -the former Zuider Sea- and the Westfriese omringdijk. Built in 1699-1700, it is one of the oldest lighthouses in the Netherlands.
De Ven was one of the three lighthouses indicating the route from the Wadden Sea to Amsterdam. De Ven is the only one remaining of the three original lighthouses.
