View on the Noorder IJ lake and "Zijkanaal H", with houseboats.
Noorder IJ lake used to be a polder, but sand was extracted to create the highway A10. Recently Amsterdam started to dump soil here to reduce the depth (20 m.) of the lake.
"Zijkanaal H" marks the border between Amsterdam and Zaanstad.
