View on a small stream the "Kil", a modest remnant of a larger stream the "Crommenije", that used to be the connection between the impoldered lake "Wijker" and the still existing lake "Uitgeest/Alkmaar".
The "Kil" indicates the border between the municipalities of Zaanstad and Heemskerk. On the right side the old Assendelver Sea dyke (± 1300) is visible.
