The Netherlands Koopmanspolder
View on a polder, the "Koopmanspolder", situated between Wervershoof and Andijk, next to a 126 km long dyke, the Westfriese Omringdijk".
This polder is redesigned recently as a testing ground for water storage and waterlevel management. During several cycles with different waterlevels monitoring of flora, fauna (a.o. fish migration) and water quality takes place.
The designers' inspiration was the whirlpool of an empty running bathtub.
