Opened in 1911, the building is the home of the Royal Liver Assurance group. One of the first buildings in the world to be built using reinforced concrete, the Royal Liver Building stands at 90 m tall and was, the tallest building in the city until 1965.
(It was raining quite a bit when I took this picture, so I had to use my umbrella and was lucky that the lens did not catch any water).
