Taken on Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman. I spent hours lying in the sand taking photos of this rather tame Great Egret which spent its days on the beach outside my hotel. This is probably my favourite shot of it as most of the time it was just standing still staring into the water waiting for fish to swim past. More shots of Cayman to follow over the next week or so...

Ive uploaded a few shots of this bird before so thought Id try it in B&W.
