Just back from a long weekend in Barcelona, where I had my iphone stolen and got food poisoning! Despite that I had a good weekend, going to see the football team, Montserrat and visiting Gaudi's incredible buildings, of which this photo is one.

This was taken from the roof of La Pedrera, which was built in 1912 as an apartment block.

More Gaudi brilliance - this is the ceiling of La Sagrada Familia, one of the most incredible buildings Ive ever been in, and which is expected to be finished in 2026.

This was taken with my fisheye - quite challenging light conditions too as the sun was blazing through the windows.

Sorry Ive been so crap at commenting etc of late, hope to be able to catch up with contacts etc this week.

This is the view upwards from the courtyard of Monserrat Basilica, a monastary and cathedral build on top of a cliff in the hills outside Barcelona.

I seem to have a bit of a thing for upwards shots with my fisheye lens at the minute!

Another one of La Pedrera, Gaudi's surreal block of flats. The rooftop is based around two courtyards which descend 5 or 6 storeys and has bizarre chimneys that look like giant owls and Star Wars stormtrooper helmets.

I dont think the hideously ugly metal fence was in Gaudi's plans though.
