Taken on day 1 of the Tour du Mont Blanc hike - a 12.5 mile walk from Les Houches to Les Contamines, through flower filled meadows and past the Bioniassay glacier and Col du Tricot.

This was taken at the start of the day's trek, no mountains on view at this point but I liked the winding path and the light.

This was taken on day 1 of the 'Tour du Mont Blanc' - a 120 mile, 8 day hike around Europe's highest mountain (carrying my 15kg backpack and camera up and down mountains!).

Lots of landscape shots to follow, all taken with my 10-22mm. There were loads of flowers and insects too, but I didn't have the right lenses with me to get shots of them.

Day 2 of the Tour Du Mont Blanc - 11 miles from Les Contamines to Les Chapieux.

I didnt get many photos this day as it was raining when we set off, then we had to walk over the snow covered Col du Bonhomme, so I had my hiking poles in my hands - I still managed to fall over on my backside every 5 minutes though!
