Said to have been found in the 1860s with an iron sword (now lost) in a grave on Lambay Island (see 'Silumnus? Ins.' on Pleiades) just off the east coast of Ireland near Dublin.
Of uncertain date, perhaps late 1st c. CE; stylistic parallels range from the 1st c. BCE to the 2nd c. CE, and suggest an origin among the Brigantes of Britain.
National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology, Inv. W82.
