Visited the beautiful Sturgeon Point Lighthouse as part of my trip up north to the Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival in Alpena. This stunning
lighthouse sits south of Alpena, Michigan on Lake Huron, just north or Harrisville. The Lighthouse was first lit in 1869, two years after the
funding was approved by Congress. The lighthouse is operated as a museum by the Alcona Historical Society. Saw this beautiful lighthouse on
Saturday October 11, 2014 on a perfect autumn day in Michigan.
