Incredible clifftop view from which you can see the famous basalt columns of Giants Causeway. In the distance you can see the Lacada point, under which the remains of La Girona rest, a galleass (large merchant ships developed for military purposes) which was a part of the Spanish Armada.

Over a year ago, I had a chance to photograph this beautiful castle from the front, using the same technique. When taking a picture of the scenery, I used several light painting techniques to illuminate the building. In order to get the right conditions, I visited this place several times and finally I was able to find pure clear conditions.
You can see the Milky Way in the sky, and more precisely the Milky Way from Cygnus to Cassiopeia and Perseus with Andromeda Galaxy lurking near the horizon as well as Vega, the brightest star in the northern constellation of Lyra in the top right corner :)

It is a diffuse nebula situated in the Milky Way, being south of Orion's Belt in the constellation of Orion. It is one of the brightest nebulae, and is visible to the naked eye in the night sky.

Peace and quiet, surrounded by a million of stars in the beautiful Donegal.
A few weeks ago I went for a solo drive through the Dunlewey area. I stopped by one of the lakes near Errigal to be alone with the stars, a long way from civilization
It was the last night that I was able to photograph the Milky Way in this position before it moved further to the west.
