Feldkirch Cathedral (Dompfarrkirche Sankt Nikolaus in German) is a Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to Saint Nicholas in the city of Feldkirch, Vorarlberg. It is part of the old town and is one of the largest Gothic churches in the region. It has been the cathedral of the Diocese of Feldkirch since it was established in 1968.
The first church on the site was a chapel of one of two older churches; it was probably built around the same time as the Schattenburg and the beginnings of the present town of Feldkirch, around 1200. It became an independent parish church in 1218. The dedication to Saint Nicholas dates from 1287.
In the city fires of 1348, 1396, and 1460 the original Romanesque church building was badly damaged. In 1478 it was rebuilt under the architect Hans Sturm, who added a new Late Gothic nave and gable roof. The new building was dedicated in the same year. In 1479 the church tower to the north was completed. The present choir was built around 1520 with a somewhat lower gable roof. There are also sacristies, a Lady Chapel, and a baptismal chapel.

Schattenburg is a castle and museum in Feldkirch, Vorarlberg. Its name is derived from the word "schatte" or "schad" meaning "protection" or "shield" in German.
Hugo I of Montfort, founder of the town of Feldkirch, built the castle around 1200. The various Dukes of Montfort live here until 1390. Afterwards, the castle was sold to the Habsburgs.
The Schattenburg has been owned by the city since 1825. Feldkirch bought it for more than 800 guilders at the time, which roughly corresponds to the value of eight good tournament horses. Over the years, the castle has undergone several wars and suffered some damage, but it has been constantly renovated. Today, it is one of the best preserved medieval castles in Central Europe.
Today the Schattenburg Museum offers a total of eighteen museum rooms on three floors. Each room is dedicated to a different aspect of Feldkirch's city history. Weapons from the Middle Ages to World War II are on display in the castle guard.
