Mountain View Park is located near Gainesville, GA on Lake Lanier. When the water is low, it is one of my most favorite places to shoot Lanier. It is quite popular with local bank fisherman as it has a nice secluded beach area from which to fish.

I believe this is the evening in which I discovered I had loaded a roll of film in my film camera backwards and had exposed nothing except the backing paper. :) It seems funny now but it wasn't too humorous to me that evening.

I remember almost not making this sunset, and was in quite the rush to find something remotely interesting for a foreground. The sky really lit up for a while, and while it didn't catch quite all the colors in the spectrum it got close :)

A sunset image taken at the Poole Knobs Recreation area on J. Percy Priest Lake in Tennessee. J. Percy Priest Lake was formed in 1967 with the building of J. Percy Priest Dam on the Stones River. The lake is over 40 miles long and covers over 14,000 acres of area.

Many times life seems a series of mountains to conquer and obstacles to navigate. While exciting and largely satisfying, it can also be frustrating and tiring. On very rare occasions, a piece of your life falls into place quite unexpectedly. Along with it come a lot of smiles and a profound sense of peace in your soul. To me, this image represents that feeling. Thank you :)

Wild Columbine, also known as Red Columbine generally grows on steep rocky slopes. It blooms from March to July. It is prized by bees and humming birds for its nectar.

A film image taken in July of 2000 at the North Carolina Arboretum. If you haven't been there it's a beautiful place.

Taken on Fuji Velvia 50.

This barn is located on private property in Hall County, GA.

I'm playing around a bit here. I posted a color shot of this barn a while back. It's bright red. This is a black and white conversion of a digital file, with a little grain added for effect. I think the image would be timeless except for the electrical wire running up the side of the barn.

Please view on BLACK.
