A short series of winter photos in color!

Part 1:
The shot was taken in the record winter of 2010/2011 where we had snow in the complete December! That's really rare ... Normally we have some days with snow and even years with no snow at all (like the last two winters).
I found this on top of the former coal mining pit at the Tetrahedon in Bottrop. The place is now a vantage point with a great view over the Ruhr Area. More shots from up there up next!
