I found a colorful field of spring wildflowers growing on 1.5 acres of land. At a distance there was a monarch butterfly dancing from flower to flower. It was a joyful experience to be alone with all this beauty surrounding me. The flowers and grasses were very tall, thick and impossible to walk through, but I was finally able to capture the butterfly in flight from a distance. I couldn't help but think of the song and lyrics, one of my favorite oldies, Elusive Butterfly of Love.
