Various statues are placed around the circular walk that emcompasses the waters of Scammonden Reservoir. There is also an audio commentary available at various points along the journey.
The reservoir was completed in 1970, coinciding with opening of the M62 which runs on top of the dam wall embankment. It supplies the nearby town of Huddersfield
