I have several images form my archives that I plan to post over the Winter months. Maybe one day soon it will snow and I can get some fresh Winter images. In the meantime here is a view of the sheer cliff walls surrounding Crater Lake. A rock formation known as Pumice Castle is noticeable on the right due to it's bright orange color and pinkish-brown turrets which make it stand out from its surroundings. This is a single image that I just cropped in a little closer to show a wider view. I'll be going back to Oregon and the Pacific Northwest for a couple of visits later this Summer. I also have a few vacations planned to brand new locations (to me) that I am getting very excited about! I hope you guys enjoy this view as much as I do. Please view large if you have a moment... Lake Louise in Banff National Park, Alberta Canada. We actually saw some snow here in Iowa today... luckily it didn't stick to the ground. The weather finally looks promising for the coming weekend though and things are looking a little like Spring outside.
