Back from a wonderful month in Costa Rica. We only intended to stay a couple of weeks but fell in love with the place and decided to extend our visit. I have a feeling this won't be our last trip to that beautiful country.

We saw quite a few of these funny guys. They appear quite unafraid of humans which made them quite easy to capture.

Sloths live their lives in trees but come down to defecate and drink about once a week. We were so lucky on a river trip in Costa Rica to see this sloth taking a drink out of the river - even our guide had never seen it before.
