Went for a 3 days road trip last weekend with my friend. Mt Rainier is our first stop on the first night. It was really cloudy on our way and we almost turn around because of the big black clouds that covering the entire mountain.
Lucky we didn't give up on it. After entering the front gate, we look up and see stars knowing there are chances of shooting the night sky. When we drove up to the top parking lot and get out of the car. I immediately see the milky way right in front my eye. Usually your eyes will need sometimes to adjust the lights changes when entering a new environment. So I noticed this is a really dark place!!

After I got the first few shots, I noticed we are actually above the clouds. See the middle white spot on the bottom! :)
