This was taken the night before my last post at Palouse Falls State Park. Arrived around 2AM with a clear dark skies, and I couldn't help myself and started shooting until morning. It was a moonless night with minimal light into Palouse Canyon. So I did 2 different exposures and blended them together in PS.
I did try to head up to the higher ground where you can see the Palouse River in the canyon and capture it from there. But after heading up there with absolutely NO visibilities over the edge, think that it wasn't a smart thing to do and head back down. Finally settle with this, and can't recall there's a milkyway shot done from here! Please correct me if I'm wrong!! :)

Thanks for your visit!

A low tide night at Porteau Cove Provincial Park. Tide was so low this evening reveal an area along the shore with this large pool of sea water. My friend and I was exploring the area and was worry about the rain will come while we were photographing around. We can actually hear the rain from a distance. It was a cloudy night with a few moment of clear skies during our stay.

I was walking around trying to find my comp and finally got to this spot that can include the entire pool you see here with the milkyway right above it. Although the lights on both ends are a little distracting IMHO... Still, I'm happy with the frame I got!

The light from the left is from Gibsons. And from the right hand side, it is the lights coming from Squamish, BC. There was an aurora alert this evening. But the cloudy night sky was blocking most of the green glow from the direction of where the aurora is (on the right side outside of the frame). But you can see clearly that the purple glow was captured in the shot.

Thank you very much for viewing!
Have a great day!!

It was the very last night I stayed at the Canadian Rockies back in October 2013. Only 2 nights out from the 2 weeks with a clear sky allowing me to capture some decent night shot under the extreme dark environment.

Night fog rolling in and out while I was taking these shots at Emerald Lake, BC. Emerald Lake located in Yoho National Park. Taken back in April, 2014. When I just arriving after a long day driving from Vancouver. So glad I did stopped at the lake and got a shot of it with the milkyway right on top of the lodge.

I blended this with quite a few different exposure in PS. Mainly with adjusting the overexposed area and give it a softer glow where all the lights are. Did took me some time since the ever changing fog were moving so much thru out each shots. Hope you like it.

Thanks for viewing!
