Ski Arapahoe Lakes with Dave - In this winter of epic snowfall in the Colorado mountains, I finally got out for my first ski day a couple weeks ago. Dave and I headed up to the Arapahoe Lakes area above the East Portal of the Moffat Tunnel. We yoyoed a couple times making fresh tracks through knee-deep powder. The day was a useful shakedown for the 7-day hut trip I started 5 days later.
