The Peter D. Smith house at Waterloo Village was built in 1874 in the Second Empire style of architecture and features a fourth floor cupola, mansard roof, four chimneys and two first floor bay windows. The village is a restored 19th century canal town in Byram Township, Sussex County New Jersey.
