I took this photo 2 nights ago off of Highway 12 near Pythian Rd. looking at Mt Hood. Seeing the sky glowing 5 miles up the road prompted me to photograph this night. I have documented since the firestorm broke out on late Sunday, October 8 - early morning Monday October 9. I didn't photograph during that time but I have there after. I put my computer back together last night and will be going thru the images and have decided to share my take on this historical and horrific event that has devastated my hometown of Santa Rosa, California.
