I finally got to capture some mist in Yarner Wood (after trying for many years) when I popped out on a foggy morning recently. I'm not very good at woodland photography, well at least I need a few hours to try and find something but these trees were starting to close in on me! shared with pixbuf.com

Another shot from Bantham at the weekend. Just at the last moment, as the colour as fading, I spotted this composition which seemed to work for me.

The sun dipped into the distant haze and fog at Bantham but as it set the cirrus cloud lit up nicely. I don't usually do long exposures but it made the water reflect the afterglow colours nicely.

We had a load of fog and mist this morning but despite our best efforts we were either stuck in hill fog or the inversion was poor and the woodland mist was a bit lacklustere However it did make me look back and decided I finally liked this shot from a local misty forest. It looked like the meeting of the Ents from Fangorn Forest! shared with pixbuf.com
