Had a nice circular walk around here on Easter Friday (www.theaa.com/walks/castell-coch-and-the-new-south-wales-...). Visited the excellent Tea Rooms in the Castle afterwards. Recommend the Welsh Rarebit.
Entrance to the Castle is £3.80 (CADW) but free to the tea rooms (provided there is no event on at the Castle).
Free parking in the grounds. The Castle is just off Junction 32 of the M4.near the village of Tongwynlais.
