This is the front of Penarth Pier. It's a pier that lends itself to being photographed. The pier itself is well looked after by the council. The only shame is that the main front building (shown here) is not currently used. However, Penarth Arts & Crafts Ltd (PACL) was successful earlier this year with a first round pass from Heritage Lottery, a major contributor to the £3.7 million renovation project.

The renovated Pavilion is expected to feature a cinema, cafes and a multi-function main hall.

Penarth Pier is in South Wales, near Cardiff.

Seating booths can be found on each side of Penarth Pier. This booth has views towards Penarth Marina and Cardiff Bay. The pigeons are enthusiastic users of the Pier.
