The outflow from the tarn is to the left of the photo, but the beck, whilst it goes underground a few hundred metres to the south of the tarn, it isn't the water that emerges under Malham Cove.

Part of the sluice control for Langcliffe Mill. The mill is still used for processing cardboard packaging (I think), but the raw product isn't made here any more; obviously the original water power hasn't been used for a long time.
