Last of the stone carvings, that I captured.

A interesting carving showing two lighthouses. Beneath them is a name of the man who probably carved this. Most of his name has been worn away by the elements.

John McKenna was the keeper of the light at Cape Roseway from 1899 to 1920. The first initial "J" and then "M" at the start of the last name can still be seen so it may have been made by him.

This ferry runs across a 210 meter (700ft) wide entrance to St. Ann's Harbour between Englishtown and Jersey Cove. This Englishtown ferry arrived in Englishtown on July 3, 2008. It is a larger auto ferry than the previous one and has been christened “The Torquil MacLean” in honour of the area’s first ferry operator. Designed and built in Nova Scotia, the $4-million ferry can carry 15 full-size cars per trip (compared to 12 cars per trip on the previous ferry).

The view from High Place of Sacrifice, looking back towards the mountain I went up to get to Al Dier. You can see Qasr el-Bint (left), the white roof (right) where the North Ridge Church is and some of the other sites I had visited. Petra, Jordan

Rameses II and his Chief Wife Nefertari on the left side (his right).

Above the entrance door (left side) the king worships the figure of the falcon headed god Re-Horakhty.

The cartouche of Ramses II (1290-1224 B.C.) (left one) - throne name - Usermaatre Setepenre ("The Justice of Re is Powerful, Chosen of Re"). The cartouche has noteworthy celestial overtones - it symbolized that the king was the 'Ruler of Everything Encircled by the Sun.'

The cartouche of Ramses II (right one) - birth name - Ramses Meryamun ("Re Has Fashioned Him, Beloved of Amun")
