Spent two hours at the beach hoping for some inspiration photography-wise… Unfortunately, I left feeling uninspired and with a broken tripod. :( Oddly enough, I never get a sunset/seascape shot I'm happy with, but still enjoy shooting the little details and textures, just like this one.
Hopefully I'll pick up some of that inspiration after a much-needed change of scenery.

Finally decided to take my camera out. I didn't expect a lot of interesting shots since I find very little variety --subject-wise-- at the beach (i.e. sunset shots), which is the main reason why I have been reluctant to just get out and shoot whatever I can find near here (this beach). Anyway, at the very least, it gave me some new shots to toy with in Lightroom.

Sunsets are still pretty challenging for me. In fact, I barely had time to try out my new Hitech filters, but anyway, better focus on one thing at a time. No filters were used since I barely had time to compose, so it's just three exposures merged through digital blending in PS4.
