20 years Turns All Year for my twin brother Josh and I felt pretty good. We began our streak with Ben Manfredi in 1998 and kept it going after he passed in 2003. We'd missed a month the year before, in 1997, and since we'd kept track from age 13 on, we'd only missed 13 months, so we decided to try and ski all year long. Back then it wasn't a thing we knew other people did, but we knew it was something we'd wanted to do. There's been many challenges, and injuries. A few years ago my brother tore his MCL and I sprained and crushed both my feet dirt biking. What a sad sight we were hobbling up to the Muir snowfields in September. My boots barely went on, but we made it happen. We've made it happen for 20 years. So many memories, so many adventures. And what a great time hanging out with a few dozen other Turns all Year brethren on Mt. Hood.
