In the The Ski Journal's latest issue is a review of my book, "Alpine State of Mind". Within Cory Tarilton Photography pens, "During their solitary summers in Washington state’s Cascade
Range, the beat writers of the 1950s penned poems and
stories that have inspired wanderlust in generations since. As
Jack Kerouac wrote in The Dharma Bums, “In the end, you won’t
remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing
the lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain.” Ski mountaineer
and professional photographer Jason Hummel has spent his life
climbing those mountains, and in his new book Alpine State of
Mind he’s captured his past half-decade of travels throughout
the iconic range. "

In the future I hope to issue another bigger and even more incredible book, but that will be at least a few years from now.
