I am entering a monthly photography competition and this months theme is food. I have narrowed my shots down to two but cannot decide on which to use. I thought my flickr friends might be able to help me in my decision.

This photo I feel is the more imaginative shot wheras the other one I think has a more technically pleasing aspect. Please let me know your comments on both and which you think I should enter.
