Another gull in my series - I wasnt quite so happy with this one but I still feel it was worthy to share. Captured with my Sigma 100-300mm f/4 near Aviemore in Scotland.

This woodpecker was photographed at my parents in law house. They have a bir-feeder attached to a vintage tractor in the garden. The woodpecker doesnt often come so close to the house but I was luck enough to get this shot. Unfortunately it was through the double glazed window but it turned out quite nice. This is my first real photo with my new lens - a Sigma 100-300 f/4 which is very sharp :o)

This is a black headed gull making a nice V shape with its wings over the River Spey between Grantown and Aviemore in Scotland. Another shot with my Sigma 100-300mm f/4 lens :o)

Another black headed gull in flight shot over the River Spey in the heart of Scotland. The contrast really makes this one stand out!

This gull was just having a quick flex of the wings after landing and putting them neatly away!
