I was taking a lot of photos at the nature reserve when suddenly these two geese(?) started fighting and chasing each other. I must have been a good 50 meters away but Bigma made sure I was close in on the action (taken at 500mm)!
Thanks for the crop suggestion but I like it as it is - with that tight a crop you miss the shadow of the geese on the water and the little duckling on the left is too cute to cut out!
I have given in to the crop suggestions and made an updated version here which also removes the rest of the birds and boosts the colour of the water.

This swan was having a bit of a clean. I thought it made for a very interesting subject - I just wish his tail didnt have that feather sticking up! I went for this composition rather than a shot centered on the swan to show a bit of the surroundings. The upcoming flowers on the left make a nice edge to the photo to give a little more interest. I love the from of the swans neck - it looks like an elegant gymnastic move!

Herons are amazingly camoflaged birds - this guy was hard to spot but Bigma managed to pick him out quite well
