This has to be the scariest fish out there! It has a long spine out of the front of it which glows mildly to attract its prey. The angler sits in the dark and literally fishes for food, then goes into snap it up. Unfortunately the tank was circular so it was impossible to get a shot without any reflections but this was the best one ( you can see the rainbow-type reflection on the right hand side ).

These Wolf fish are very sensitive to light hence the dark blue light. It gives an extremely moody effect. He was a slow moving fish which is just as well as the exposure time had to be fairly large for a handheld shot.

I recently went back to the Tynemouth Aquarium. The last time I went I took a shot of an angler fish which turned out to be very popular. I went back to try and get a better one. This one is almost identical but I made it more dramatic by making it black and white. I doubt this one will make it so popular in explore but I prefer this one - what do you think?
