This October there will be an annular eclipse that will be completely visible very near where I live (weather permitting). I figure between now and then I better learn how to take photos of the sun :) Here's a practice shot from this afternoon.
IN CASE ANYONE DOESN'T KNOW - DO NOT - I REPEAT DO NOT aim a camera directly at the sun without proper protective filtration, especially if shooting through a telephoto lens or telescope. Failure to heed this warning can result in broken gear and/or severe eye injury.

The rainstorm the previous night provided me a great foreground! This was taken a few years ago. Me and my husband took a drive out to Moab for our anniversary - hardly a soul in the park in December!

Young animals are so very curious in their behavior. Fox kits are no different ... in fact, they seem to be even more so at times. To them, it's all a learning game and it seems that you can almost see their minds working to figure it all out. In that way, they remind me of bear cubs, burrowing owls, or even our own children. LOL. They love to play together, stretch the limits of what mom will let them do, and take the time to experience anything that they're seeing around them. All trying to figure it all out ... which in turn prepares them for survival in life. Hope that enjoy this little one. :-)
Happy Wednesday!
