The mushrooms are out in the Mt. Hood National Forest.
This was from last weekend. We were up at the cabin and I didn't plan to do much photography (we had guests) so I just grabbed my over the shoulder bag with whatever was in it. . . just in case. Of course Murphy's Law would then dictate that I DO decide I want to take photos and I don't have the right lens with me. This would have come out better technically (better detail) if it had been shot with my 100mm macro instead of my 24-105mm zoom. Ah, well. That's what I get for not taking the time to pack my camera bag for any eventuality, and I was still able to get the shot.
Must be time for Halloween. The spiders are getting big.
Shot this through my (dirty) kitchen window. An adult orbweaver spider was cleaning debris out of her web. With the wind storm that was happening this made for extra work for both her and the person trying to shoot her! :)
