Part of the 52 moments project: 52mmnts.me/
This photo has a light leak in it. This fact is self-evident. However, the story behind that little light leak is not. To be honest, I was terrified that I had destroyed this role of film, because I forgot to rewind the film when I reached the end, and then, 24 hours later, I popped open the back of Yoshi, and was almost certain that I had destroyed all of these images.
This is part of why I am really loving playing with film so much recently. It is in the mistakes that I find myself learning. It isn't like digital, where I can automatically fix my mistakes, but instead I am forced to slow down. To learn gradually, one beautiful "oops" at a time.
