It’s cold inside this house
I can’t feel my fingers
can’t dig inside my breast
break the bones that cover my heart
to see if it still beats
your words are colder still
chilling the marrow’d bones
while my skin cracks and breaks
shattering on the floor
my shivered bones
tremble
threaten, falling to dust
at your wintry touch
My entire life, I’ve felt like a black sheep, easily forgotten and readily ignored. This image strikes home in more ways than one. To feel like you can’t be seen, not one thought spared for you, is a haunting sorrow that trails you. I feel proud and accomplished after creating this image. She’s falling apart, vanishing, but she’s still standing, proud.
Sometimes life doesn’t deal us the best cards, sometimes you won’t even be in the game, but that’s okay. You’ll be okay.

Excerpt from blog: "This image was inspired by the nest I found in the woods. I wanted an image that portrayed the characteristics, as I see them, of the nest. I wanted to create an image that was dark, had a sense of danger, a bit whimsical, and has delicate beauty."

I found a photo with a girl in a white dress standing in a field with a white parasol with smoke coming out of the umbrella MONTHS ago and now I can't find it to credit who I was inspired by.
Inspired by this photo!! www.flickr.com/photos/schloo/5947615631/
Then I just saw Karrah's smoke/umbrella photo.
Also this is partly inspired by Brooke Shaden.
So. yeah. woohoo 365.
