Yeah, I am a waterfall junkie. I love to watch the water spill over the rocks, to see the little rainbows that rise in the mist and to experience the raw power of the torrent as it rushes downward. The sounds created by the cascading water have a soothing effect on me and I could literally sit for hours mesmerized by the sights and sounds around me.

We experienced a few of the many falls in Yellowstone this past trip, enough to know that I will be scouting out more to visit for next year's trip.

There were only a few clouds overhead when we reached this spot, so I spent a fair amount of time waiting for the sun and shadows to disappear for the right shot. Ah but it was a glorious wait!
